Peoria High and Richwoods students explored the Mississippi River with Living Lands & Waters! They learned how cleanup efforts began, how they’re funded, and how the river supports 1.3 million jobs. 🌊
They also conducted water testing with a scientist and connected with a Conservation Officer from the Department of Natural Resources.
Even better? Several students now want to pursue careers in these fields. 👏
