🖤✨ Black History Month ✨🖤
This month, we honor Black history by uplifting voices and committing to equity. Our schools stand for dismantling systems rooted in oppression and ensuring every student, of every race, is treated with dignity, respect, and opportunity.

Throughout his life, Rev. Dr. Williams broke racial barriers while faithfully serving at Ward Chapel Church. A World War II veteran, he also dedicated 18 years as a crossing guard for Peoria Public Schools, putting the safety and well-being of students first.
His enduring commitment to the PPS community continues to inspire generations. Rev. Dr. Williams received a Remarkable Spirit Award and will be featured in February’s Remarkable Times.

This donation will help provide classroom supplies that support teachers’ success and enhance students’ learning experience. Your continued commitment to uplifting the community and empowering our educators is truly appreciated 🙏

For 14 years, Trent has been an impactful servant leader in the Franklin community, consistently leading with integrity and the belief that no task is too great when it comes to supporting students and families. 👏

Come a little early, give the gift of blood, and then join us for the school board meeting afterwards.

Due to extreme temperatures there will be no school on Friday.

Our talented WCTC culinary students are serving up a bold and flavorful menu featuring:
🥕 Carrot & Ginger Soup
🍗 Korean Fried Chicken
🥥 Coconut Lime Bars
Support our students, enjoy an incredible meal, and see future chefs in action!

We honor his legacy by reflecting on justice, equity, and the power of education to uplift every student in the PPS community.
