🏆Congratulations to Dr. Ann Bond, who was recognized as Peoria Public Schools Administrator of the Year at last night's board meeting! Mrs. Skahill, Special Education Coordinator, and Mrs. Hawks, Principal of Manual, were runners-up! 🏆

🌟Thanks to donations from the PPS Foundation, 100 students will be heading to City Kids Camp this year from June 10-14! 🌟

⚡The solar panels on the Woodruff Career and Technical Center roof can power 17 houses!⚡

👍 8th graders at Lincoln K-8 held a bake sale and raised $631 to donate to human trafficking victims at The Center for Prevention of Abuse! 👍

🌟Glen Oak CLC hosted a college and career fair for 5th-8th graders where various employers including Bradley University, ICC, and the City of Peoria helped guide students in exploring their futures! 🌟

Students often graduate with full-time job offers! The next signing day is Wednesday, May 8th!

🍴The Woodruff Culinary presentation at the Peoria Women's Club luncheon, where seniors served a meal to over 100 guests, has led to a $7,000 donation for upcoming national competitions! 🍴

This week, Kellar Primary hosted "Muffins with Misses," allowing students to enjoy breakfast with their female parent or guardian before school!

Community leaders across Peoria joined Reservoir Gifted Academy 7th graders to lend their expertise in writing cause-and-effect research papers!

⭐School Your Way is a program designed to empower high school students, connecting them with opportunities and resources within and outside the district that are tailored to their unique interests. ⭐

The PNC Foundation visited Valeska Hinton ECEC, presenting the school with an outdoor classroom grant from PNC Grow Up Great, and its staff read to the students! Thank you to the PPS Foundation for making this possible!

🍩 Dr. C.T. Vivian Primary hosted Donuts with Grown-ups, an event where students and their parents/guardians could enjoy breakfast together! 🍩

This program, led by the PPS Foundation, has featured over 200 speakers this year!

📢Due to the weather, all after-school activities, including programs, sports, and parent meetings, are canceled today! 📢
