D2 Program Details

D2 Diploma/Degree Program

The D2 program provides an opportunity for students to earn their high school diploma while earning college credits on ICC's campus. The D2 program allows students to be full time on the ICC Campus for junior and senior years earning an Associates Degree.

A new program is Senior Year @ ICC for students. Students spend their entire senior year on the ICC Campus. The application process begins in the junior year. The parent and student must request an appointment with the high school counselor. Information and details will be provided at that time. Students must enroll online at ICC and take the reading and math Accuplacer exams. New students to the district should meet with high school counselors for transcript evaluation.

The following are required and/or recommended for students to apply:

Required: Must be registered as a Peoria Public Schools student for the 2023-2024 school year.

Required: Pass the Reading or WritePlacer and Math Accuplacer, exams and have a GPA of 2.7 or higher, complete a full application packet

Recommended: Have passed Enriched or AP Classes, have activities or job experiences

Required:  If a student works a part time job, should not work more than 12-15 hours a week (some exceptions may apply upon written request and approval).

Required: Parent, guardian, or other adult willing to review syllabi and student work weekly.

Required: Students must have a parent or guardian participating in all informational meetings.

Required: The first class, for the two year program, must be taken in person, and is held in the summer; Other courses that are online must be pre-approved by high school counselor and Innovation Officer.

Other recommendations and requirements will be covered at parent meetings.

Applications for the 2023-2024 school year will open in late fall semester.

Parent Meetings - (Choose one from the following. Parents must attend a minimum of one with their student.)

  • November 7th - 5 p.m. at Manual High School

  • November 7th - 6 p.m. at Peoria High School

  • November 9th - 5:30 p.m. at Richwoods High School

  • November 15th - 5:00 p.m. at the Administration Building (3202 N. Wisconsin Ave., Peoria, IL)
