Cue the celebration! Almost a thousand students from high schools across the district have earned a spot on the Honor Roll for the first semester—a remarkable achievement that highlights their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to academic excellence.
To qualify, students students must earn a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher, demonstrating consistent hard work and focus in their studies. A cumulative GPA is the overall average of all your grades across multiple semesters, calculated by dividing the total grade points earned by the total number of credits attempted. At the end of the first semester a student who is a junior will have a GPA calculation based on five semesters, while a sophomore's GPA will be based on three semesters.
