Peoria High School hosted a fundraiser last week called Wigs and Whiskers, during which they raised over $4,000 to contribute towards scholarships honoring two former students, Tommie Forrest III and Darnell Hunter. This event also aligned with the 7 Mindset principle of Live to Give, aiming to raise funds for a cause larger than any individual while fostering a vibrant school atmosphere. Students and staff grew beards from January 29th to March 8th and wore colorful wigs.
