The PPS Learning Online program allows families the flexibility of schooling at home while being supported by online instruction delivered through the Acellus platform.

Currently offered for students enrolled in 5th-8th grade.

The PPS Learning Online program application for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE:

• Families wishing to participate must be registered with the Peoria Public Schools district through their home school.

• Applications will be reviewed and considered based on the student's past success working online.  Final approval will be made by the student's home school administration. 

• Please submit a separate application for each student you wish to be considered for PPS Learning Online next year.

• Families applying for the 2025-26 PPS Learning Online program will be notified of their student's application status via email. For applications submitted by June 11th, notifications will be sent during the week of June 23. For applications submitted after June 11th, notifications will be sent in late July.

REMINDERS: 

• Students entering 6th grade must be in compliance with physical/immunization requirements by July 30, 2025 for the 2025-26 school year. Students not in compliance by July 30, 2025 will be excluded from the online program. Please check the district website for current requirements.

• Families are responsible for securing a device for their student [tablet or computer] and reliable Internet.

• Families are responsible for their student(s) working consistently each week to stay on pace.
