K-4 grade students attended the NED show. This assembly focused of having a growth mindset and being resilient. N stands for Never Give Up, E stands for Encourage Others, and D stands for Do Your Best

Please read the information about medical compliance. ALL medical records MUST be returned into the office on or before October 15th. Also, if your student does not have anything checked marked above the red paragraph, then the Dentals and Visions do not need to be turned in at this time, they will be due on a later date.
Boys Baseball has two games this week. Hult Presentations continue this week at Lincoln. Fall Break is on the horizon, that means that Quarter 1 ends on Friday.


7th graders give thoughtful written responses during 7 Mindsets Journaling time.



During a staff meeting, teachers participated in an AVID strategy called the carousel. They taught each other strategies that will help achieve our school improvement plan.










Picture day is this Thursday. Students can come out of uniform if they have bought pictures or have money for pictures.

8th grade AVID elective students participated in their first tutorial. Tutorials are a cornerstone of the avid elective. They fill out of TRF to identify their point of confusion. Students work collaboratively in tutorials by asking questions and working through the problem together in small groups. #ThisisAVID

6th grade AVID elective students in sixth grade practiced their note taking skills by taking notes over how to make ice cream in a bag. 7th grade AVID elective students tested their note taking skills by making the ice cream exactly the way their notes said! It was a sweet way to end the week. #ThisisAVID

“Saving Lives lab.”The students were given emergency medical scenarios. They rotated through stations and had to take steps to treat their patients for the emergency scenario. Way to 8th grade!










4th graders end their day everyday looking at their BAG. Behavior, Attendace, and Grades








Did you know, that when your child reads for 30 mins a day, it helps with stamina and vocabulary.

Brain breaks are essential during the day. Learning is still happening during these brain breaks.



8th-graders tested foods for glucose levels. Learning about diabetes and how foods we eat affect our body systems.
