Thursday night was AVID induction night!
We have 84 students being inducted in the AVID elective in grades 6-8.

At LK8, we have implemented the house system from the Ron Clark Academy.
Every student in our building is assigned to a house.
Students earn a house point for demonstrating exceptional effort, strong character, school spirit, outstanding performance, or house spirit.
Currently, Sollevare is in the lead, with Protos and Isibindi closely following.

There were 31 homerooms that achieved a Free Dress last Friday. It is a testament to the dedication of our students and teachers.
Notably, 671 students actively engaged with Accelerated Reader, completing one or more AR quizzes, a significant increase of 302 from the previous year.
Impressively, 41.4% of students demonstrated exceptional proficiency, with 278 students averaging 85% or higher on AR quizzes.
Furthermore, the total number of AR comprehension quizzes passed this school year has reached 1,755, representing a remarkable 35% increase, a clear indication of our students' growing enthusiasm for reading and learning.
