HAIR BRAIDING

ABOUT US

Students will learn a variety of hair braiding skills and techniques. In a salon setting, students will offer braid services that have been taught in the classroom and will also demonstrate skills required for salon maintenance and operation, such as sanitation and receptionist duties. Students who qualify, will have the opportunity to participate in a 30-hour internship at an approved salon, performing designated braiding-related activities. A total of 300 hours is required to earn a hair braiding license.
