The two-year Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management curriculum is based off the National Restaurant Association’s ProStart program, which gives students a well-rounded foundation to begin a culinary or hospitality career. Our program combines textbook and classroom activities, knife skills, cooking techniques, practical hands-on kitchen experience, and an introduction to table service.

Quizzes, tests, and projects
Hands-on lab activities in our professional commercial kitchen and our onsite restaurant
National Restaurant Association ProStart
Exams for Foundations Level I and Level II Certifications
Opportunities for job shadowing, internships, field trips, and catering events
Scholarship and travel opportunities through culinary competitions

CREDENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES

First Aid/CPR Certification
ServSafe Sanitation Managers Certification
Articulated course credit through ICC may be earned.
*Every WCTC student has the opportunity to earn Professional certifications
and a Soft Skills High Professional Development Certificate.
