On Friday, April 17, Peoria High Band and Orchestra students attended the 72nd annual Peoria Symphony Orchestra's Student Concert. The best documentary is the kind made RIGHT HERE AT PHS! For Black History Month, students in Mr. Daubs English class worked together to create a documentary. Students were tasked with researching, note taking, writing a script, and talking on camera. They worked in groups together. Then, Ms. Hansen coached them through recording, and then edited the video to create a documentary on Harriet Tubman below. We are very proud of our students working together and getting out of their comfort zone to create something special. Leave a review in the comments! https://youtu.be/hI4iqMdMpBs?si=uuQEEKfy1lofB6QR

Can we get a happy birthday for Coach Bates? Coach dedicates four days a week in the weight room all year round. He is a dedicated coach for Peoria High, but he gives that same amount of energy to his wife, children, and the kids at the Friendship House. Coach, we are so grateful for you. The Peoria community is grateful for you. May you have the best day you deserve.
