Mrs Lopez and her eighth graders presented holiday from their home countries. Presentations included cultural traditions, family traditions, and a feast of food from their countries.

Eighth grade students explored what fossils can tell us about life through hands on experiences, reading nonfiction text, and informational video.

AP Hardesty treated Mrs. Hrdlicka’s homeroom to brownies for having the least referrals in the grade level last week.




Mrs. Madden and Mrs. Fauser host a special Thanksgiving lunch and students share about things they are thankful for.




The day before break, Peoria High, Richwoods, and Lincoln got together for our annual AVID event. High schoolers talked to middle schoolers about grades, TRFs, tutorials, and all things AVID. We did some team building activities to increase relational capacity.










Playing Draughts (checkers), Naughts and Crosses (tic tac toe), Hubbub, marbles, using a feather pen, eating homemade hardtack and butter…..learning about traditions from the time of the first Thanksgiving. We also learned that without the Native Americans help, the Pilgrims probably wouldn’t have survived. Happy Thanksgiving!

The Peoria Symphony Guild put on a magical puppet show for grades K-2 based on the plays on Peer Gynt.

We have our last Home Game of the Girls' Basketball Team tonight at 4 pm.
Grandparents' Day 2024 was an outstanding success. We had over 400 grandparents come support their mustang. We appreciate you! ❤️❤️
