Welcome to the Industrial Technology Department!

Our programs center on hands-on, real-world projects that help students understand how the information and skills they are learning in the classroom could be applied in everyday life. We assist students become technologically literate and equipped with the necessary skills to cope with, live, and work in today’s highly technological society. Courses are designed around useful lifelong technological skills taught from a practical problem-solving approach. Our curriculum prepares students for college, trade or technical schools, apprenticeships, and the world of work.

Career and Technical Education prepares both youth and adults for a wide range of careers. These careers may require varying levels of education – from high school and postsecondary certificates to two- and four-year college degrees. Career and Technical Education is offered in middle schools, high schools, community and technical colleges and other postsecondary institutions.
