The Manual Band is open to students who are interested in furthering their skills in performing music on various wind and percussive instruments. 

• Concert Band is primarily for students that have demonstrated knowledge and abilities in basic and intermediate musical knowledge and playing technique. 

• Band is a class designed for students with little or no experience playing on a wind or percussive instrument.

Individual students are encouraged to participate in the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest, IMEA District Festival auditions, as well as other performing ensembles such as the Peoria Jazz AllStars.

The Manual Band performs at every Varsity Home Football and Basketball Game, as well as 5-7 parades a year.
