Good evening Rolling Acres Families,
These are the announcements for the week of March 16th.
*Our current mindset is Attitude of Gratitude. Please ask your child what they are learning about the current mindset.
*RA spirit wear T-shirts are available for $15.00. Students can pick up an order form in the office.
*Good attendance is important at Rolling Acres. We are again this year implementing our attendance practice. Students who are considered chronically absent at any point during the year will be unable to participate in any extracurricular activities until they are no longer chronically absent. Currently, If your child has 13.5 or more absences, excused or unexcused, they are currently chronically absent. Please help RA by sending your child to school on time, every day..
Our attendance rate for the year is 93.18% with a chronic absence rate of 18.90% down from 19.19% last week.
*8th grade promotion will take place on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:00. Promotion will take place at Richwoods.
*Save the date - Monday, March 16th we will be having our dads event - "March Dadness". We will be filling out basketball brackets and playing dodgeball. A flyer will be sent out this week.
*Our state testing continues this week. Please encourage your child to do their very best on the test. Students who are present at school and take all 5 test on the scheduled days will receive free dress the week before spring break. Test days are Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Monday
*IAR testing day 3 - (Students who are present at school and take all 5 test on the scheduled days will receive free dress the week before spring break.)
*Sewing club 2:45 - 4:15
*Dads event - "March Dadness". We will be eating pizza, filling out basketball brackets and playing dodgeball. 6:00 - 7:30
Tuesday
*IAR testing day 4 - (Students who are present at school and take all 5 test on the scheduled days will receive free dress the week before spring break.)
*Soccer practice 2:45 - 4:15 in the gym (bring gym shoes)
Wednesday
*IAR testing day 5 - (Students who are present at school and take all 5 test on the scheduled days will receive free dress the week before spring break.)
*JV semi-final volleyball game at Woodruff. The game begins at 4:00.
Thursday
*Varsity semi-final volleyball game at Woodruff. The game begins at 5:00.
Friday
*Soccer practice 2:45 - 4:15 in the gym (bring gym shoes)
