These are the announcements for the week of October 20th.
*Our current mindset is PASSION FIRST. Please ask your child what they are learning about the current mindset.
*RA spirit wear T-shirts are available for $15.00. Students can pick up an order form in the office.
*Good attendance is important at Rolling Acres. We are again this year implementing our attendance practice. Students who are considered chronically absent at any point during the year will be unable to participate in any extracurricular activities until they are no longer chronically absent. Currently, If your child has 5 or more absences, excused or unexcused, they are currently chronically absent. Please help RA by sending your child to school on time, every day..
Last week our attendance percentage for the school was 92.6% with a chronic absence rate of 16.87% up from 16.61% last week.

*Robotics team practice 2:45 – 4:30
Tuesday
*Robotics team practice 2:45 – 4:30
Wednesday
*Student House Sorting!!!!! Students will be sorted in to one of four house after lunches.
*Girls basketball game at Sterling. The JV game starts at 3:45 followed by varsity.
*PTO meeting 6:00 in the library
Thursday
*Cooking club 2:45 – 4:00
Saturday
*Robotics practice at Lakeview Library 10:00 12:15
*Girls’ basketball games vs Annie Jo Gordon and Glen Oak at Woodruff. Times will be sent out later this week.
Looking ahead – The PTO will be hosting a Haunted House event on Tuesday, October 28th from 5:00 – 7:00 along with a trunk or treat.
