The ICC Rapid Enrollment Day for Manual High School Seniors is scheduled for Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the East Peoria Campus. ****If you would like to participate in this event, you must apply at ICC and take the Accuplacer before this event. **** Schedule your Accuplacer Placement Test over Spring Break at this link: https://succeed.icc.edu/portal/testing_center?tab=peoria-campus We will depart from Manual at 9am and depart from the ICC campus at 1pm. Advisors from ICC will help you 'Write Your Own Success Story' by assisting in the enrollment process for courses taken in the Summer or Fall 2025! This event is designed to guide you through your next steps at ICC and provide a glimpse into the opportunities ahead. Students will tour the ICC East Peoria campus, enroll in courses, receive career advice, and enjoy lunch with fellow students. It’s a great chance to get a head start on their college journey and make connections that will support them throughout their time at ICC. We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Sharon Desmoulin-Kherat has been recognized as one of the four finalists for the National Superintendent of the Year award by AASA. This prestigious accolade was presented to her during the AASA National Conference on Education in New Orleans on March 6th, 2025. Dr. Desmoulin-Kherat is quick to credit this achievement to the dedication and hard work of our administrators, teachers, and board of education members. Their collective efforts and commitment to overcoming the challenges faced by our school district have been instrumental in our progress. While we celebrate this national recognition, we also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the award winner, Walter B. Gonsoulin, Jr. of Jefferson County Schools, Alabama. This award, co-presented by AASA, Corebridge Financial, and Sourcewell, highlights the exceptional contributions of superintendents nationwide. We are proud to have Dr. Desmoulin-Kherat represent our district and share the innovative programs and strategies from PPS on the national stage.
