The VIP event is on Wednesday 9/24.

VIP Breakfasts are taking the place of previous "Muffins & Donuts" events.
Students are each allowed 1 guest and MUST RSVP on time in to attend.

PLEASE FILL OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE INVITATION AND RETURN IT TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BY FRIDAY 9/19. No late RSVP's or Walk-ins can be accommodated.

The House of Isibindi proudly presents "Birds, Bees, and Botanicals," our first community service project. Thanks to a HUGE donation from Hoerr Nursery, we have planted over 75 native Illinois flowering plants. Students have been busy planting, watering, and mulching the once empty flower beds on the front side of the school. Over the next few months, students will be adding bee and bird houses. Attention parents and guardians -

MBS will be hosting 3 events this year to welcome guests into our building. Please see the details below and SAVE THE DATES. Copies of this post will go home this week.

First Quarter Eagle Excellence reward will be a field trip! All students who meet every goal will get to go bowling!! To attend your MUST have: 90% or better attendance All A's & B's 1 or fewer detentions No In or out of school suspensions Students who qualify will be notified by October 1.

On Friday our Eagles had an All House Celebration. We sorted so new classmates, chose our attendance raffle winners, celebrated some successes and practiced our house chants & cheers. Mr. Hesh also announced that MBS will participating in THE AMAZING SHAKE later this year......details coming soon! What an awesome way to end the week

Congratulations to the winners of our August Attendance Challenge! 8 students (2 from each house) won a Kindle Fire tablet and case! All students with 1 or less days missed in August were entered into the raffle. We are so proud of the 186 students who were eligible. Keep it up Eagles!!

Isibindi photo drop from the first exciting house meeting. Chants, songs, and dances were loud. House members were awarded their Lion of Courage key chains for earning the house points. Awesome Teamwork, Isibindi!We rose on the house leader board to second place that week. Members also started receiving their house shields for their lockerd and Isibindi hats to add to their house uniforms. Thank you yo Mr. & Mrs. Katolick for 3zd printing our Lions of Courage!
