MBS will be hosting 3 events this year to welcome guests into our building. Please see the details below and SAVE THE DATES. Copies of this post will go home this week.

First Quarter Eagle Excellence reward will be a field trip! All students who meet every goal will get to go bowling!! To attend your MUST have: 90% or better attendance All A's & B's 1 or fewer detentions No In or out of school suspensions Students who qualify will be notified by October 1.

On Friday our Eagles had an All House Celebration. We sorted so new classmates, chose our attendance raffle winners, celebrated some successes and practiced our house chants & cheers. Mr. Hesh also announced that MBS will participating in THE AMAZING SHAKE later this year......details coming soon! What an awesome way to end the week

Congratulations to the winners of our August Attendance Challenge! 8 students (2 from each house) won a Kindle Fire tablet and case! All students with 1 or less days missed in August were entered into the raffle. We are so proud of the 186 students who were eligible. Keep it up Eagles!!

Isibindi photo drop from the first exciting house meeting. Chants, songs, and dances were loud. House members were awarded their Lion of Courage key chains for earning the house points. Awesome Teamwork, Isibindi!We rose on the house leader board to second place that week. Members also started receiving their house shields for their lockerd and Isibindi hats to add to their house uniforms. Thank you yo Mr. & Mrs. Katolick for 3zd printing our Lions of Courage! Reminder to ALL STUDENTS! On Friday, we will announce the winners of the August Attendance Raffle at our All School House Celebration. 1 student from each house will win an Amazon Kindle Fire 8 with a case. 176 of our Eagles had their names entered in the raffle for having 1 day or less missed from school in August. GREAT WORK!

STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT ON FRIDAY TO WIN! Another name will be picked to win if the chosen student is not present.

Bingo Night FAQ ~

- Doors open at 5:30, Bingo begins promptly at 6pm....should be over before 7pm
- A parent MUST attend with their student
- This is a FREE EVENT with 3 themed rounds of Bingo - PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS
- Bingo themes are ...... Pro Sports Logos, Disney/Marvel/Pixar & All Things Mark Bills
- Snacks will be for sale from the PTC. Families may bring their own food if they would like to.
- House with the most students in attendance WILL BE REWARDED WITH HOUSE POINTS!
- No skill or knowledge needed....just a fun event to bring our MBS family together

Mark Your Calendars - Baseball game has been rescheduled

Shout out to all of the families who have participated in our dine out nights! Almost $200 was raised at Avaniti's for our Baseball team. And our PTC event at Weaver's last night was a great success!

Thank you to both of these wonderful restaurants for welcoming our Eagle community and supporting our school!
