Trewyn students and staff were greeted with bright, new hallway murals this week. Approximately 40 volunteers gathered at Trewyn School on Saturday to paint colorful murals in the hallway, as part of the City of Peoria Day of Service to honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Local Peoria artist Dante Watson designed and sketched the murals and then transferred his sketches to the walls so volunteers could fill in with paint. Thanks to all who helped with this project!
