Success in the Classroom

  1. Regularly attend class; come prepared and open to learn

    1. Be ready to take notes and complete assignments, they are designed to help develop your skills with the content

    2. Class time will be used to complete assignments; if you're in class you won't have much homework

  2. Ask questions when you don't understand

    1. I do not expect you to understand everything perfectly the first time you see it, if you have questions, please ask them

    2. I'm always available to answer student questions, if you see me in my room and need help with something, please drop in and see me

  3. Use your time wisely in class

    1. Paying attention in class will improve your understanding of the material

    2. Remain off your phone and pay attention while the teacher is talking

  4. Advocate for yourself

    1. I'm human and I make mistakes, if you think something is wrong let me know about it

  5. Regularly Review Material

    1. Use your notes effectively; review them before summative assessments as you will not be allowed to use them during

    2. Review Savvas for materials that you may have missed in your notes; all covered content is available on Savvas Realize at all times
