🦁 PRIDE of the CITY – Weekly Highlights
The 4th Quarter is underway at Peoria High, and our Lions are building great momentum as we head toward the finish line. Here are a few highlights from this week:
🔧 Fix It Week Success
Students took advantage of opportunities to complete missing work and improve grades. We are already seeing fewer Fs across the building.
📝 ACT Countdown
• Freshmen & Sophomores – April 14
• Juniors – April 22
Our teachers are embedding ACT-style questions and strategies in lessons to help students feel confident and ready on test day.
🌈 Chase the Rainbow Attendance Challenge
Students with 95% attendance in March will earn Rainbow Ice at lunch on March 27.
🎓 Senior Updates
• Senior Trip deposits should be turned in to Mrs. Dailey
• Senior Pictures are next week – see Mrs. Beam for details
🏫 Welcome to the PRIDE of the CITY
Please join us in welcoming Assistant Principal Sheffeia Zollicoffer, who will be supporting our Sophomore Class.
🤝 PPTO Meeting
Our Peoria High Parent Teacher Organization will meet Tuesday at 6 PM.
📬 Quarter 3 Report Cards
Report cards will be sent home Friday.
