Today we kicked things off with a fun assembly, inspiring words from two amazing community friends, and of course… some dancing!
A BIG THANK YOU to Alex Carmona, District 2 Councilman, and Andres Diaz, 2nd District Board Member, for celebrating with us and helping us start the month with so much joy!
We’re looking forward to a month full of culture, learning, music, dancing, and celebration!

MDLA is a PEANUT & TREE NUT FREE SCHOOL. Please remember that students cannot bring peanuts or tree nuts to school for snack or lunch.
If your child eats peanuts or tree nuts before school, please make sure they wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water before coming to school.
Thank you for helping us keep ALL of our students safe and healthy!

MDLA Uniform Colors
Students should wear approved uniform tops in blue, white, purple, or yellow, and approved bottoms in black, navy blue, or khaki. Acceptable styles include polos, button-downs, collared shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, and shorts. Please contact the school office for the complete uniform policy.

Los estudiantes deben usar camisetas o camisas del uniforme en tonos de azul, blanco, morado o amarillo, y prendas inferiores del uniforme de color negro, azul marino o caqui.
