Attendance

We finished off our week with 93% attendance. Congratulations to Mr. Bennett's Class for having 98% attendance and winning the weekly challenge. They will enjoy a free dress pass for Wednesday! Please, always remember, attendance matters!

Outstanding Student Leadership Skills

On Monday, two of our students will be recognized at the Illinois Principal Association Breakfast. William S. and Dexter L. were nominated by their teachers for their outstanding leadership skills. They are excellent role models for the students at Kellar.

Walk or Bike to School

On Friday, we will have our end of the year Walk or Bike to School. Check out our PTO Facebook Page for more details about the meeting location.

Superintendent's Challenge

Please keep working with your K & 1st grade students at home to complete their task sheet and when it is completed, please send it into school for their teacher to review. Remember, there are awesome prizes, an iPad or Bicycle, to win! If you have any questions about your grade level expectations, reach out to your student's homeroom teacher or e-mail Mrs. Peterson. The deadline is May 10th.

Bradley Basketball Summer Camps

Both coaches for men's and women's Bradley Basketball will be hosting camps this coming summer. For more information about Coach Wardle's camp, click here, and for more information about Coach Popovec-Goss' camp, click here.

Afternoon Pick-up

If you are going to let your student(s) play on the playground after school, please move your car to an open spot outside of the fence so the gate can be closed at or after 3:45pm.

The Golden Rule: Treat Others as You Would Like to Be Treated

Please encourage your student(s) to make appropriate choices at school and on the bus by reviewing with them our school wide expectations that they agreed upon at the beginning of the school year by signing their student handbook and communicate that you always have the same expectations for them when they are attending school.

Thank you for all you do. No one plays a more important role in the educational success of a student than their family!

Everyone have a great week and shine your Kellar pride!
