On March 23rd the Avanti's on Rockwood is hosting a fundraiser in support of Jamieson School. 15% of the proceeds will go to our school.

You MUST present this flyer for Jamieson to receive proceeds from your purchase. The flyer is good for dine-in, delivery, and carry out. Please hand the flyer to the cashier at checkout or mention it when you call in your order for delivery.

Today when we arrived at school we had 5 more chicks who had hatched from their eggs! They have been moved from the incubator to join their 10 siblings who hatched yesterday.

Yesterday two of our teachers started to introduce some of our students to our new fluffy chicks. We can't wait to show them to more students soon.

Every Spring as an FFA (Future Farms of America club) activity, we incubate chicken eggs and hatch baby chicks here at school with eggs provided by the U of I 4-H Extension program here in Peoria. We began the incubation process 3 weeks ago and now the chicks are starting to hatch 🙂

We will continue to post more photos as our students get introduced to our chicks.
