As Thursday February 29th approaches, we're excited to announce a celebration of World Rare Disease Day! World Rare Disease Day sheds light on the challenges faced by individuals living with rare diseases. Peoria Public Schools is honored to support the education and development of many of these amazing, rare students.

This year, we're showing our support in a fun and meaningful way by encouraging all staff members to "Show your Stripes and Wear Jeans for Rare Genes", in solidarity with those affected by rare diseases.

Wearing stripes and jeans symbolizes unity and diversity, reminding us that we stand together with individuals and families impacted by rare diseases. By participating, we not only raise awareness but also demonstrate our commitment to inclusivity and compassion within our community.

If you participate, we would love to see your photos! Send your photo(s) to: Natalie.James@psd150.org

Thank you for your support!
