Dear Parents/Guardians, 

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Glen Oak Community Learning Center and to join this extraordinary school family. On behalf of the staff at Glen Oak Community Learning Center, we are excited to welcome you and your scholar to the2023-2024 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our scholars can achieve their highest potential.

We recognize that to be successful in school, our scholars need support from both home and school. We are committed to developing a strong partnership with you to ensure your scholar’s success. We genuinely believe that scholars value what adults in their lives value.  As partners, we share the responsibility of our scholar's success and want you to know that we will do our absolute best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your scholar’s learning by ensuring that he/she: 

1. Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience 

2. Read daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills

3. Understand and follow all school rules while in the building

We look forward to the start of a new school year and continuing our collaboration to provide our scholars with an effective and engaging educational experience. We look to our families to be active partners in this year’s journey.  The wonderful Glen Oak Community Learning Center staff and I feel privileged to be part of this school family. We thank you for your support and look forward to an AMAZING school year!!
