The Peoria Public School Foundation recognized 24 7th-grade girls who excel in mathematics! They received certificates and medals in recognition of their math skills and potential. The recipients of this award have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to attend the Illinois Central College "College for Kids" summer program. Six recipients for the scholarship will be selected later this month. A total of 418 7th grade girls have received the Deirdre Purcell Collins Math Award since it was first established in 2007.
