The Second Annual Mark Bills Middle School Science and Engineering Fair was held this past week, and 140 students presented 70 projects that they had been researching and conducting since August.
Students competed with traditional science fair boards or with a PowerPoint presentation. This was an Illinois Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) qualifying event. Exceptional projects qualified for the IJAS Region 1 Science and Engineering at Western Illinois University.
