Woodruff Culinary students won their eighth championship in a row at the Illinois Pro-State Invitational put on by the National Restaurant Association. They won the competition with a restaurant called The Peorian, which offered traditional Native American foods. Students had to create an appetizer, entree, and dessert in one hour using two burners, and present the food to six sets of judges.

They will be heading to Nationals in Washington D.C. from April 25-28.
