Peoria Public School's primary schools held their first mini-conference, the "Parade of PD," on SIP Day. PreK and Kindergarten teachers collaborated at Valeska Hinton, 1st and 2nd grade teachers at Hines, and 3rd and 4th grade teachers at Northmoor. Each site began with a vertical articulation session among grade levels and schools. Then, teachers chose from 2 breakout sessions led by their peers. Special thanks to all teacher leaders who presented sessions. Each site enjoyed a surprise parade featuring the Manual Drum Line, central office administration, and principals dressed in costumes for Read Across America week!
