On Monday, February 26th, the rich legacy of beloved Manual High School teacher and Coach Larry Hendricks was celebrated. Mr. Hendricks was an art teacher, coach, and mentor, who worked at Manual from 1970 until his retirement in 2004.
Beginning with an assembly that highlighted the multitude of people Mr. Hendricks influenced and concluding with an honorary street renaming, the corner of Lincoln and Griswold will forever be called Larry Hendricks Street.
Congratulations Mr. Hendricks, and thank you for the remarkable contribution that you have made at Peoria Public Schools!
