Peter Brown Auto Body Teacher

 

Mr. Brown is born and raised in Peoria and is a graduate of Manual High School. He has been married to his wife Mary for 39 years. His son Jeremy and his wife Jennifer live in Chicago with their two children. He also has a daughter Kristina who lives in Savannah, Georgia. 

Mr. Brown grew up with a love of cars and working on them. After high school he started working in dealer shops in the area. He has 40 years of experience in this field. He also owned his own auto body shop for 25 years. He is passionate about restoring old cars. 

He attended General Motors Training School in 1991 recieving training on base coat and clear coat painting. He also attended DuPont Training School in 1992 training on auto painting. 

Over the years Mr. Brown has restored many antique and custom cars over the years. He worked at Peoria Speedway as an official until his daughter started racing. He then quit to help her with her own race car. He also helps to organize different car shows in the area to raise money for charities. 

This is Mr. Brown's 6th year as the auto body teacher. He has had several former students get jobs working in collision repair shops. He often has shops calling and asking if he has any graduates that will be looking for work. He is passionate about passing his knowldege onto his students and helping them exceede. He often goes above and beyond for his students to insure their sucess. He is a wonderful asset to the WCTC team!
