Click here for new information on the device request program

Peoria Public Schools has instituted a device check-out program for Remote Learning. So far, more than 4,000 devices have been delivered to students and families since March 30.

NEW AS OF APRIL 14: If you have not requested a device yet, please call the front office your student's school between the hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. The front office staff will fill out the request form for you.

NOTE: We have a limited supply of devices for checkout and this request form is meant for those who need these devices for at-home learning. In some cases, an iPad may be provided if the student has an IEP or other need requiring that instead of a Stream.

There is free XFinity WiFi available through local hotspots (visit https://wifi.xfinity.com/ and enter your home zip code to find nearby free WiFi hotspots), or families can sign up for 2 free months of home internet WiFi through Comcast Internet Essentials at https://www.internetessentials.com. If you need financial assistance with signing up for the Comcast Internet Essentials program, please indicate below.

Students are responsible for making sure all equipment is returned in working order. Any missing pieces or items needing repaired will be charged to your student’s account. Replacement costs are listed below; if the item can be repaired instead of replaced, the cost will be lower.

  • Stream laptop: $250
  • Stream power cord: $30
  • iPad: $300
  • iPad power cord: $30

IMPORTANT: Repeated misuse, damage, missing pieces, or failure to return the kits on time will result in the loss of check out privileges. Use of these devices is for school purposes only. Students must follow the guidelines set forth in the Student Handbook and the Acceptable Use Policy signed at the start of the year. By applying below, you are agreeing and understand the guidelines set forth by the District for checking out a Stream.

If you have any questions, please contact your student's building principal after spring break has concluded.
