Peoria Public Schools will continue to be a reliable, consistent source of nutritious meals for its students.
Starting Monday, August 31, meals will be available for pick-up at every building except Valeska Hinton Early Childhood Education Center (VHECEC), Woodruff Career and Technical Center (WCTC), Knoxville Center for Student Success (KCSS) and Washington Gifted Middle School. We will also have locations set up at the Salvation Army on Nebraska Avenue, the Peoria Friendship House, the Greater Peoria YMCA and in the Taft Homes.
Meals will be distributed Monday-Friday from the front entrance of each building. Meals will be distributed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at K-8 buildings and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at high school buildings.
With a new extension by the USDA to allow meal distribution to all children, meals will be available to Peoria Public School students and any other child 18 years old or younger. Students will be able to choose different options to assemble the meals they want.
