Click here to request a student device!

Peoria Public Schools is instituting a device check-out program starting immediately. Please click to here to fill out the device request form.

NOTE: We have a limited supply of devices for checkout and this request form is meant for those who need these devices for at-home learning.

Students who need a device to complete their work at home can check out a Stream on a first-come first-serve basis for use during the school shutdown. In some cases, an iPad may be provided if the student has an IEP or other need requiring that instead of a Stream. Deliveries of these devices will begin on Monday, March 30th.

There is free XFinity WiFi available through local hotspots (visit https://wifi.xfinity.com/ and enter your home zip code to find nearby free WiFi hotspots), or families can sign up for 2 free months of home internet WiFi through Comcast Internet Essentials at https://www.internetessentials.com. If you need financial assistance with signing up for the Comcast Internet Essentials program, please indicate below.

Students are responsible for making sure all equipment is returned in working order. Any missing pieces or items needing repaired will be charged to your student’s account. Replacement costs are listed below; if the item can be repaired instead of replaced, the cost will be lower.

  • Stream laptop: $250
  • Stream power cord: $30
  • iPad: $300
  • iPad power cord: $30

IMPORTANT: Repeated misuse, damage, missing pieces, or failure to return the kits on time will result in the loss of check out privileges. Use of these devices is for school purposes only. Students must follow the guidelines set forth in the Student Handbook and the Acceptable Use Policy signed at the start of the year. By applying below, you are agreeing and understand the guidelines set forth by the District for checking out a Stream.

If you have any questions, please contact your student's building principal after spring break has concluded.
