  • Click here for new information on device request program

    Peoria Public Schools has instituted a device check-out program for Remote Learning. So far, more than 4,000 devices have been delivered to students and families since March 30. NEW AS OF APRIL 14: If you have not requested a device yet, please call the front office your student's school between the hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. The front office staff will fill out the request form for you.

  • Welcome to Our Table

    Curbside breakfast and lunch will be provided at the Atrium doors from 10 am – 12:30 pm daily during shutdown periods. This program will take place during Spring Break. Students and parents are not to enter the building to eat. This is for students in the Peoria High attendance region. The students must be present to receive the food. Please continue to monitor this web page for any changes that might occur to the program.

    All Peoria High games, practices, open gyms, weight room, music, and club activities are cancelled indefinitely. No games will be played until at least April 14th. Follow @briendunphy on Twitter for all the latest updates.

    Peoria High School Athletic and Activities Director Brien Dunphy is a finalist in the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) 2020 National Athletic Director of the Year. Dunphy is one of eight finalists nationwide.

  • StuCo Blood Drive

    • The American Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by Student Council on Friday, January 17. Please sign up to donate blood during lunches and help save up to 3 lives! Bring a photo ID or your blood donor card, or two other forms of ID. Eat a healthy meal and drink an extra 16 oz. of water and fluids before the donation.

  • Counseling office awarded $1,000 grant

    Peoria High School counseling office won a $1,000 grant through Project Reach, a service project of the Illinois Association of College and Admission Counselors (IACAC). Project Reach is designed to provide school supplies, college counseling materials, financial support and other resources to Illinois high schools. Grant winners are chosen annually based on nominations from IACAC members.

  • Congratulations Ms. Mitchell

    Peoria High counselor Myskeshia Mitchell was recently named one of the 40 Under 40 leaders by InterBusiness Issues magazine. This award is given to top leaders under the age of 40 in the Greater Peoria area. Ms. Mitchell was recognized for her contributions to Peoria Public Schools as well as her volunteer work in the community. Please click on "read full story" for a link to the magazine article.

  • Students hear experiences of foreign exchange students

    Two foreign exchange students from Germany and Otto Lahdensivu, a foreign exchange student from Finland who attends Peoria High School, spoke to students about their experiences during Foreign Language Week in March. The students from Germany live with families in Crystal Lake and Huntley, Illinois. The event was sponsored by Youth for Understanding Intercultural Exchange programs.

  • New District Grading Policy

    The Peoria Public Schools grading committee met in the spring of 2017 to discuss the changed grading procedures and what might need adjusted based on student, parent, teacher and administrator feedback.
