    Peoria Public Schools has instituted a device check-out program for Remote Learning. So far, more than 4,000 devices have been delivered to students and families since March 30. NEW AS OF APRIL 14: If you have not requested a device yet, please call the front office your student's school between the hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. The front office staff will fill out the request form for you.

  • Jaguars earn Attendance Award two straight months

    Congratulations Sterling Middle School for earning top honors in the PPS Most Improved Attendance competition two months straight. Compariing October 2019 to October 2018, Sterling attendance rose 3.90 percent, from 82.24 percent to 93.14 percent. The increase in November was even more dramatic! Attendance rose 4.90 percent, from 87 percent in November 2018 to 91.90 percent in November 2019. Great job Sterling staff, students and families!

    The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released our annual School Report Card on Oct. 30 at www.illinoisreportcard.com. The Report Card shows how well our school is progressing on a wide range of educational goals.

  • Middle school STEM Saturdays starts September 7

    DAPCEP - a free Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program for Peoria Public School 5th - 8th grade students will run Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., September 7 through October 5. This is the third year the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP) has brought its STEM program to Bradley University, the only DACPCEP program offered outside Michigan.
