Early Entrance to Kindergarten is the admission of a student to kindergarten who will not yet be five years old by the September 1st deadline of that school year and whose 5th birthday falls on or between September 2 and October 31st, as documented by a certified copy of the birth certificate.

Applications for the 2023-2024 school year will be accepted from April 1 through May 15, 2023.

1.  Complete the Early Entrance to Kindergarten application. The application is available at the bottom of this page.

2.  Return the completed application to:

    Email your completed application and a copy of your child's birth certificate to
amanda.brown@psd150.org

3.  Once the application has been received, an appointment will be set for an early numeracy and early literacy screening.

4.  If the results of the screening demonstrate academic readiness for kindergarten, your child will be referred to our team for additional academic and social emotional screening.

5.  The process takes approximately four weeks. All applicants will receive notification of whether or not their application for early entrance was approved.
