Hello wonderful families! I am very excited to get to learn and grow with your students this school year! I will learn a lot about each and every one of them, but I would love for you to know a little about me!

I grew up in Canton, IL and graduated from Canton High School. I attended Monmouth College to pursue my bachelors degree in Elementary Education.

Some of my experience before joining Peoria Public Schools include a daycare teacher, a special education paraprofessional, and a substitute teacher.

This is my 9th year teaching for PPS. I started at Glen Oak in 2017 where I taught for 3 years, and then I came to Hines. I have taught all grade levels Kindergarten through 3rd grade, but Kinder is where my heart belongs!

I have been with my husband for over 13 years, and we have three children: Roland is 12, Aria is 9, and Ezra is 5! When I'm not teaching my Kinder kids, I am always spending my time with my own three kids!

Some of my favorite things are being a teacher, the color blue, riding my bike, listening to my children read books to me, traveling with my family, drinking coffee, and trying new foods from many cultures!
