I am the 4th and 5th grade inclusion teacher.This is my seventh year at Glen Oak. I am a lifelong Peorian and Peoria District 150 graduate. I am a single parent of a son who also graduated from Peoria Public Schools in 2013. Like his dad, he is a special education teacher in another district. I was in the first graduating class of Charles Lindbergh Middle School and graduated from Richwoods High School in 1982. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Several years later, I returned to school to obtain my life-long desire to become an educator. I received my undergraduate LBS1 certificate from Bradley University in 2005 and then my Master's in  Curriculum and Instruction for Special Education in 2012.This is my eighteenth year in the  district-one year as a sub, one year at Day Treatment and  nine years at Von Steuben, teaching students with behavior and emotional disorders. My last eight years have been as an inclusion teacher. I also coach the Glen Oak  baseball  team. I look forward to having a great year with your children.
