America Reads Tutoring

Bradley University’s America Reads Tutoring Program was established in 1997 with the goal of helping children become strong, independent readers. There is no charge for these tutoring sessions.

  • Children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be expected to regularly attend the sessions for which they are registered.

  • Please keep in mind that this is not a “drop-in” program, but a program that requires attendance on a regular basis to show improvement in reading skills.

  • If you are interested in having your child receive free tutoring in the area of reading, please complete the application found here, or by submitting the attached PDF application via email or by mail (1501 W. Bradley Ave., Peoria, IL 61625).

  • Tutoring will take place in-person at Bradley's Campustown facility (1200 Main Street, next to Dollar Tree and CVS). CDC and Bradley University guidelines will be strictly followed.

If you have further questions, please contact the Smith Career Center, (309) 677-2510 or send an email to AmericaReads@bradley.edu.
