1st Grade

Hello everyone.  My name is Mrs. Dean.  I am from the area, living in East Peoria my entire life.  I have a wonderful husband and two amazing children. We have a son in 8th grade and a daughter who is a Senior in College.  We also have three dogs in our family, which makes everyday exciting!

I went to Bradley University to obtain my Elementary Education Degree in 2009.  In 2019, I graduated from Bradley University again, but this time with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.  I began my career teaching 2nd grade outside the district.  I moved my career to District 150 in 2013 and am extremely happy with my choice. This is my 11th year in the district and 7th year teaching 1st grade.
