Bradley offers STEM classes to Grades 5-8 students.
Glen Oak Community Learning Center students observed this year's Red Ribbon Week theme -- Life is a Journey; Travel Drug Free -- by creating colorful, meaningful posters.
On Monday night, April 9, 2018, the Board of Education took action to slightly change the boundaries for Glen Oak in an effort to reduce enrollment at the school for next school year. Changes include: 1) Glen Oak's northern boundary will now be the southern side of McClure Ave. Any students that live [on the Northern side or odd address side of McClure North] (including along Virginia, Gift and Seneca Streets) will now be assigned to Hines Primary, Von Steuben Middle and Peoria High Schools. 2) All boundary waivers at Glen Oak will not be renewed for the 2018-2019 school year. All students that do not live within the Glen Oak boundary will be required to attend their home school. If English Language Learner services are required, the placement will be at Lincoln. If you have questions about ELL services, call ELL Coordinator, Becky Lindholm, at 672-6754. All special education services are anticipated to be met at the child's home school. If you have questions about special education services, call Maureen Langholf at 672-6752. We are working on direct communication with families affected by these changes, and anticipate official letters going out to parents before the end of the school year. If you have questions about these changes, email Academic Instructional Officer Dr. Jerry Bell at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 672-6776.
