Purpose:

Best Buddies helps to create an inclusive school climate for students and a community culture of acceptance.

Description:

Best Buddies operates as a student-run friendship club, which creates buddy pairs between students with and without disabilities.  Students without disabilities meet once a month to help plan parties for all members.  All members attend the monthly party and grow their friendships.  Students are expected to keep regular contact with their buddies throughout the school year.
