• French Overall Review for Remote Learning  This is a very basic review via PowerPoint.  I hope it helps.

Welcome back from spring break.  Teachers will have meetings this week and time to prepare for our new e-learning.  This is new for all so please be patient.  In the meantime, PLEASE LOG INTO MS TEAMS (PARENT/STUDENT TAB ON DISTRICT WEBSITE--WILL BRING UP A DIRECTORY) AND LET ME KNOW THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO ACCESS TEAMS AS WELL AS LETTING ME KNOW THAT YOU CAN ACCESS EMC PASSPORT--AND ARE CHECKING THIS SITE).  THIS WEEK, try the tic-tac-toe activities, do Duolingo for 20 minutes a day, and go to EMC Passport--flashcards, grammar games, grammar videos.  Stay safe.  I miss you.  I hope that we might be able to come together again as a class this year.  LAVEZ LES MAINS!!!!!!

*****It has come to my attention that some of you might not have received the remote learning schedule.  I will try to post the link:

    Remote Learning Schedule

https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cYfYnvzJp2   This is a link to a regular verb review.

REMOTE LEARNING DAY 1 ASSIGNMENTS:  EMC PASSPORT--DO AT LEAST FIVE OF THE 8 ASSIGNMENTS.  WORK ON DUOLINGO.

Welcome to Mrs. Gibbons' page.  If you are looking for the Anytime Anywhere assignments then you came to the right place! Please check on the left for the assignment page for your level of French.  I might add a note here.  You might need to go to MS Teams or EMC Passport or Duolingo!

Dear Parents, Please take the Illinois 5 Essentials Survery.  Dr. Coleman sent an email that contains the link.  We really need your support in this to help our school be the best that it can be!!  It only takes a few minutes and means so much.  Thank you for your support in this!!

Great news!  Students can access their textbook and loads of wonderful resources via EMC Passport.  One resource is Grammar Videos that explain many of the grammar points introduced in a unit.  These can be used for extra understanding or if a student missed a class.  Flashcards and Grammar Games are also very practical. The login is

firstname.lastname@psd150.org   The password should be the student's 8-digit birthday (they had a choice but I encouraged this)

***** Dear Parents and Students:  In case the district finds it necessary to have Learn Anytime, Anywhere Learning for health and safety reasons, please check this page daily.  Have your student go to the correct tab for their class.  The student might be directed to go to MS Teams as well.

UPDATE: WE ARE LEARNING AT HOME THROUGH MARCH 30TH. PLEASE CLICK ON THE TAB THAT CORRESPONDS TO YOUR CLASS.  PLEASE DO WORK EACH DAY EVEN IF IT IS 10-20 MINUTES OF DUOLINGO AND/OR FLASHCARDS-GRAMMAR GAMES VIA EMC PASSPORT.  BOTH CAN BE ACCESSED ON A PHONE OR IPAD OR COMPUTER. PLEASE DISREGARD THE DUE DATES ON THE TIC TAC TOE ASSIGNMENTS.

NOTE:  For my online learners, please reach out to Brad Zevnik to open assignments for you.  He is the only one during this time that can unlock assignments and tests.  You can email him with requests.  brad.zevnik@psd150.org  Please continue to make as much progress as possible!!

March 18:  I have added a Learn Anywhere grid to each class tab.  You can use this to help choose activities to do each day to help keep your French fresh.

Remember, one of the grid squares asks you to send me a nice message via MS Teams--let me know how you are doing!!

BE SAFE!  I HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL ON MARCH 31!
