• I am excited to be working in the English Department at Richwoods High School. I have proudly worked for District 150 since 2011, and I look forward to continuing my career at "The Standard of Excellence."
I received my Bachelor's of Arts from Augustana College in business administration with a minor in English. After a brief time in the business world, I began my Masters of Arts in Teaching at National Louis University and found my vocation. NLU also gave me the unforgetable experience of student teaching in Ireland. I graduated in 2011 as a highly-qualified teacher in: English/Language Arts, Business, Marketing, Finance, and Computer Science. While I am able to teach in different areas, English has my heart. Spring of 2019 I completed my second master's degree in administration at Illinois State University.
My husband, a Richwoods alumni, and I are college sweethearts and are currently enjoying the growth of our family. He works in Peoria, and we look forward to our children growing up in the Peoria community and our school district.
In my classroom, my colleagues and I try very hard to ensure our students have all the necessary supplies required to succeed. There are a few links on this page for parents to review including the Senior Syllabus, the Sophomore Syllabus, our Learn Anywhere - Snow Day assignment.
