• Thank you to those of you who have showed interest in the Strong Start program with Illinois Central College. Strong Start is a program that allows eligible students identified by your GPA and credits earned, to have the opportunity to attend part of your school day this year on ICC's campus earning college credit. A special Pell Grant opportunity allows those that apply and qualify to have all expenses covered. It's a great way to start earning college credits before your high school graduation! We are excited by the number of students from across the district who participated in the Strong Start information sessions.

Due to a high level of interest from talented Peoria Public School students like you, Illinois Central College (ICC) has added two more Strong Start information sessions. Sessions will be held on

Wednesday 7/27 at ICC North (Arbor 111) with registration starting at 5:30 pm

If you are interested in applying, please remember to return the Strong Start application to the Peoria Public School District Office (3202 N Wisconsin Ave) no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 25th to receive priority consideration. ICC will continue to communicate about these items with you through your ICC student email.

Once we have reviewed the application, we will be scheduling a time for you to meet with a counselor from your high school and with ICC to get scheduled.
