In this climate, I think it is important for us all to just think about doing our best. I always like this image. I'm a person who really feels like I need to be in control of my personal life and I feel very out of balance when it isn't. This is a huge reminder to me sometimes about what I can and can't control and I hope that it helps all of us during this time of uncertainty. I want to continually remind you that we are here for you and that Ms. Gordon's services are also available during this time if they are needed.

    About the Teacher:
This is my 7th year in District 150 and at Von Steuben.   I live in East Peoria with my husband, Tim. We have been married for 21 years and have 2 teenage daughters (21 & 19) and 1 son (16).  We love to watch our son play sports, watch football (Go Bears!), and spend time with our friends and family.  I am a life-long learner.   I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, but I was 38 years old before I become a teacher. I believe it is never too late to find your path!

    My teaching philosophy:
"Fair isn't every one getting the same thing. Fair is everyone getting what they need to be successful."  I work to see every child as an individual and do my best to meet each of their needs.  If you ever feel as your student needs something extra or I can help them be more successful, please do not hesitate to contact me.
